Foundational to the project as a whole, the cultural programming explores the role of halophytes and salinised lands in redefining the paradigms of adaptation to climate change. Curating contributions from professionals in gastronomy, art and research, The Tidal Garden promotes strategies, practices and narratives that integrate these plants into the imaginary and the cultural and culinary heritage of local communities.
Over the years, we have curated events, programmes, and workshops for TBA21, re:arc institute, Bauhaus of the Seas Sails, Salt of the Earth, ADI Design Museum, Uzbekistan Pavilion/Aral School, and United Arab Emirates Pavilion, among others.
